The journey takes you to the lesser-known historical sites in the four corners of Mongolia. Our expert Dr. Atwood, professor of Mongolian History and Chair of the East Asian Department at the University of Pennsylvania’s, special presentations and talks throughout the journey will enrich this trip like non other.
🦕 DINOSAURS OF MONGOLIA WITH DR. PHILLIP CURRIE
Dates: Sep 6-20, 2024
This expedition is arranged in the western remote part of the Gobi desert where some of the most significant dinosaur fossils have been discovered. Dr. Phillip Currie will be a featured guest lecturer for our “Dinosaurs of Mongolia” signature expedition. You will be living a life of an expedition member, staying in tents. Daily work includes prospecting for fossils accompanied by your paleontologist and guide and exploring the local flora and fauna. Hearty meals will be served each day by our expert field-chef following adventurous days of field prospecting and working.

🌋 EASTERN MONGOLIA OVERLAND

This quest, which traverses through Mongolia’s least known parts of the Gobi Desert and central steppes, is dedicated to adventurers who like to travel with a cause and learn about local cultures deeper than a regular visitor has a chance to. More importantly, it is designed to give you an opportunity to make your personal input and contributions into the growth of local communities and advancing their causes.
🏇 HORSE TREKKING IN THE LAND OF GENGHIS KHAN

What makes this adventure unique is it cuts down the driving time and takes places in an unusually pristine ecosystem just north east of Ulaanbaatar, an area neighboring the birthplace of Genghis Khan.
🦅 FROM GOBI TO THE GOLDEN EAGLE FESTIVAL
Dates: Sep 27 – Oct 6, 2024
Passed down to generations, the skill of hunting with eagles was only preserved among the Mongolian Kazakh community in Mongolia. Thanks to the festival in the past 15 years, this unique tradition is coming back. This trip is one of the best examples of sustainable tourism supporting the local community. Enjoy spending a private time with hunters for a close up interaction with the hunters and their raptor birds.
🏹 THE NAADAM FESTIVAL OF MONGOLIA
Dates: July 6 – 16, 2024
During Naadam even a city dweller puts on his best traditional costume and joins everyone else to celebrate these games. In these games the fame and honor are more important than the prizes. There is no betting involved in any of the sports. Join us to witness this colorful festival where best of the athletes and archers, fastest of horses from around the country come together and compete for three days for the honor of being named the best of the best.
⛰️ MOUNTAINS, TEMPLES, TREASURES OF MONGOLIA
Dates: June 15 – 29, 2024
This expedition will take us through three distinctive ecosystems of Mongolia: The Altai Mountains, Orkhon Valley grassland and the Gobi Desert.
🐆 SNOW LEOPARDS OF MONGOLIA
Dates: May 1-18; June 2-19; Oct 3-20, 2024
There are now over 30 different mountainous locations where these beautiful yet elusive cats, with an estimated population ranging from 1,000-1,500 individuals. Participants can set up camera traps or simply follow the local park rangers and follow the footsteps of these elusive but magnificent cats.
🦢 BIRDING IN THE GOBI, STEPPE AND HIGH MOUNTAINS OF MONGOLIA
Dates: June 2-16, 2024
While exploring the valleys, slopes and ridges, one can encounter with a wide range of mountain species, including the impressive Bearded Vulture (Lammergeier), Chukar Partridge, Himalayan Griffon, the impressive Cinereous Vulture, Booted and magnificent Golden Eagles, Water Pipit, Black Redstart, Alpine, Brown and the breeding nearly endemic Kozlov’s Accentors, Chinese Beautiful Rosefinch, Twite, Godlewski’s Bunting, Pallas’s Reed Bunting, Common Rock Thrush, and with a bit of luck, Grey-necked bunting and rare Red-mantled Rosefinch and Spotted Great Rosefinch.
🌺 MEETING AND PROTECTING THE GOBI KHULAN
Dates: Jun 28 – July 11, 2024
This exceptional journey is arranged with the collaboration of Goviin Khulan Association and certain proceeding of the income is dedicated to supporting this important conservation project. The journey, which is co-led by biologist Anne-Camille SOURIS and founder of the non-profit Goviin Khulan association, will take you through the Gobi’s most remote and secluded regions where you will be able to observe amazing flora and fauna but also to take part to some of the non-profit association’s research and conservation activities.
🪨 MONGOLIAN ARCHEOLOGICAL QUEST
Dates: August 10 – 23, 2024
On this exclusive journey, we will be given exclusive access to visit the excavation site and to spend a few days with the scientists and students. We will have the opportunity not only observe the excavation work, we will be able to help in unearthing an ancient treasure never seen before by the modern world.
